Things that I wanted to do but couldn't because you just never gave me a chance. 1) Hold your hand gently 2) Let you lean on my shoulder when you feel sad. 3) Buy you a lot of flowers, Snapdragons since they’re your favorite. 4) Take you to a Beachboys concert. They don’t play anymore, but maybe I could’ve found a cover band. 5) Learn how to speak German, (since that's your second language) 6) Play Frisbee with you all day. 7) Learn sign language together. Kiss your nose. 9) Have a long walk in the rain, with or without an umbrella. 10) Read a joke book to you. 11) Just talk to you all day doing something or nothing at all. 12) Go bowling with you and possibly tease you on your bowling game. 13) Continue to tease you, just for a little bit, then kiss and make up. 14) Watch a movie and make fun of it as we watch it. 15) Carry you to your bed when you fall asleep in the car. 16) Watch you sleep for a few minutes, then kiss you goodnight, preferably on the forehead so you wouldn’t wake up. 17) Carry you over at least 10 large puddles of water. 1 Make you breakfast-in-bed at least 10 random times. 19) Remember all your favorite songs by heart and learn how to play them on my piano, guitar, violin and alto saxaphone. 20) Hold you tightly when you’re scared and promise that I would never let anything bad happen to you. 21) Keep that promise. 22) Make you tea and/or chicken soup for when you’re sick and keep you company when you want and/or need it. 23) Make fun of George Bush together. 24) Make fun of Sarah Palin together, (side note: may take a while but the longer, the better). 25) Do something weird and unexpected and make fun of how weird and unexpected it was. 26) Stay on the phone with you for as long as possible. 27) Periodically tell you how beautiful and stunning you are. (Not trying to be sappy, but let’s face it, it’s a fact that a lot of people agree on.) 2 Do something on Valentines Day that would make all your friends jealous. 29) Do somethings that would make all your friends jealous on a NON-Valentines day. 30) Get in a tickle fight with you. 31) Whenever possible, catch you when you fall. 32) Stand up for you whenever someone gives you a hard time and/or bothers you. 33) Plan and carry out a surprise party for you. 34) Scare you on Halloween (do NOT over-do it). 35) Make you laugh by whispering something funny in your ear. 36) Ride a roller-coaster with you. 37) Hold your hand while riding the roller-coaster. 3 Serenade you with ‘Such Great Heights’ over the phone. 39) Make fun of how poorly I sang 'Such Great Heights' 40) Pretend not to listen to you, then surprise you by showing you that I actually did listen. 41) Go stargazing with you during a meteor shower. 42) Have an argument completely in sign language. 43) Write poems about you and leave them around where you can find them. 44) Watch the Aurora Borealis with you. 45) Hold you when you fall asleep in my arms. 46) Have an entire conversation whispering. 47) Agree on a pet name for you. 4 Agree on a pet name for me. 49) Hug you from behind. 50) Buy you pepper-spray for your protection 51) Let you win an arm-wrestling contest. 52) Plant a garden of flowers and nickname it after you. 53) Apologize to you in poetry form. 54) Show you this list when everything is crossed off. 55) Make another list. (but with you this time)
Against my better judgment, I told a good friend of mine that I was falling for her. She's in a serious relationship but I couldn't help myself. But the thing that still stings was the fact that she told me I wasn't in love with her. I've been determined to prove her wrong ever since. I haven't done anything yet and god knows I don't have the courage to go up to the plate a second time, but tell me, would someone write this if they weren't madly in love with someone?
