A friend I have known for 20 years recently stole money from me. It was only $10 and he has since admitted to it, but downplays it all by saying "it was only $10". He has yet to apologize or return the money. I agree it is not a lot of money, but it was MY money, and I should be able to trust a friend. I no longer want to continue our friendship. Some of our mutual friends agree with me while others say I am overreacting. I realize a true friendship is worth much more than $10, but shouldn't he have thought of that before he stole my money?
I was just wondering what others think of the situation. Is $10 worth losing a 20 year friendship?
